House Rules

Save Splug, save the world...

D&D Club meets most times once a week during 10th period.

Remember that an RPG is very different than an online World of Warcraft RPG- with players from all over the world- D&D players are your peers, friends, and teachers who you will encounter outside the dungeon walls- so what happens in the dungeon stays in the dungeon. (See Splug's Golden Rule) Also, remember the G in RPG... this is a Game, so above all, have fun and you can't go wrong!

GOLDEN RULE: Thou shalt have passing grades. As a school club, you need to focus first on the job at hand-school (ie projects, reports, quizzes, reading, learning, socializing, tests, having fun, and all else that comes with the territory) and then a Jedi will you be, in the medieval sense.

SPLUG'S GOLDEN RULE: "Be excellent to each other and party on dudes"

HOUSE RULES: Since D&D club meets but once a week, try to show up near the start of 10th as possible to help the game get started- doubly important for DMs. If you can't make it, either give your DM a quick idea of what you'd like your character to do AND trust in fate... either the DM will run your character OR a visiting Player, curious about the game, will run your character for the gaming session, trying their hardest not to hold off a hoard of goblins with a toothpick.

  2. Make sure to tell next year's science teacher you know how the dinos truly died. 1) He'll be impressed; 2) He'll probably give you an A and 3) He'll introduce you to summer school.
